We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sherwood Ebey will begin another of his very popular Thursday night Bible study series' on Thursday, September 26.

Commemoration of Cowan Union and Confederate Troup Movements This Sunday

Sunday, June 30: Civil War Commemoration in Downtown Cowan. Join us for a community-wide recognition of the 150th Anniversary of Union and Confederate troop occupation in Cowan. The event begins at 1:00 p.m. in the railroad park at the depot with an opening ceremony, music, and remarks by local historians. A Civil War trail marker will also be installed as part of the program.

John Bible Study Resumes February 14

The Thursday evening Bible Study will
soon resume, beginning Thursday, Feb.14.

Kicking off Bible Study of Book of Job

Starting January 5, Andy Gay will be leading the Adult Sunday School in a study of the book of Job.  This study will run parallel to a sermon series that Andy will be preaching on Job.

Tennessee Antiquarian Book Fair

The Tennessee Antiquarian Book Fair will arrive on Saturday at 10:00 am and go until 5:00 pm.  On Sunday, it will be from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.  We have in store many great booksellers from all over the US as well as one from Montreal, Canada!  There will be everything from Children's books, Fiction, Sci Fi, History, Non-fiction, Religious and much, much more. We will have speakers for children's authors, book collecting, black history, Civil war on Saturday.  John McCardell, Jr. (Vice chancellor for Sewanee) will speak on Sunday about the South in post civil war times.
